PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Sr. Program Consultant is primarily responsible for diversity, equity, inclusion, and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) education, project management, and strategic initiatives to enhance the patient and associate experience in accordance with SEP’s mission and values. The Sr. Program Consultant works collaboratively with all departments in St. Elizabeth to ensure the effective and consistent implementation of programs, initiatives, projects, and interventions focused on improving patient, associate, and provider experience, engagement, and cultural awareness. The Sr. Program Consultant is a highly visible position that is responsible for creating a positive impression.

EDUCATION

Minimum: Master’s Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum: 1+ years of leadership/coaching experience and program development and oversight. 3+ years of training development and facilitation in group and individual settings. Prior experience with diversity, equity & inclusion training and general programs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other computer skills. Must have good organizational skills and work professionally with physicians, hospital administration and management, SEP associates and the public. Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed.

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  1. Extensive knowledge of a variety of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  2. Experience in planning and coordinating training material and events
  3. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based, decision-making culture.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently resulting in effective outcomes and on-time performance.
  5. Experience in planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary communications strategies, strategic initiatives, and events.
  6. Must respond and follow through to requests from customers promptly.
  7. Must work carefully and precisely with attention to detail.
  8. Must utilize resources wisely.
  9. Performs duties willingly and with initiative. Shares necessary information so co-workers can do the same.
  10. Cooperates with other departments and work groups.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum: Must have an unexpired Driver’s License and reliable transportation for travel between office sites.
