The Manager of Provider Recruitment has primary responsibility for all talent acquisition activities associated with physicians and providers. Leads the team of Provider Recruiters and serves as the first point of contact and primary problem solver and is accountable for all Section outcomes and activities. The Provider Recruitment Manager is a highly visible position that is responsible for strategic recruitment as well as creating a positive impression with physicians, leadership, associates, patients and visitors he/she encounters. The Manager of Provider Recruitment is the first line of communication and main resource for operational needs.


Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in business or healthcare field of study

Desired: Master’s Degree


Minimum: Must have reliable transportation for travel between various office sites and other work-related travel




  • 2 years of executive or provider recruitment experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.


  1. High level interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage provider relationships and to promote and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  2. Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn and adapt to the use of new technologies, applications, and workflows.
  3. Must effectively use other electronic resources, including time and attendance, payroll, and purchasing applications.
  4. Demonstrated experience in core functions of physician practice operations, including provider relations, patient flow, revenue cycle, quality, service excellence, purchasing and inventory, and teamwork, and accountability.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team based decision making culture.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work independently resulting in effective outcomes and on time performance.
  7. Must respond and follow through to requests from customers promptly.
  8. Must work carefully and precisely with attention to detail.
  9. Must utilize resources wisely.
  10. Performs duties willingly and with initiative. Shares necessary information so co-workers can do the same.
  11. Cooperates with other departments and work groups.
