PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Provider Recruiter is primarily responsible for the direct recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers for St. Elizabeth Physicians. The Provider Recruiter is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression.

EDUCATION:

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration Finance, General Business Administration, or other related discipline.

Desired: Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, General Business Administration or related discipline.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: 2 years of healthcare recruitment experience

Desired: 2 years of experience in physician recruitment

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other computer skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills and work professionally with physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital administration, management, SEP employees and the public. Must be willing to travel to other locations on an ongoing basis. Must have extensive knowledge of physician specialties and clinic models, exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing program metrics including return on investment. Must have genuine customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations and ensure follow-up. Must have the ability to serve multiple customers (candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, colleagues) and work in a self-directed manner in ambiguous situations. Must demonstrate ability to build relationships on trust and follow through with physician candidates and physician office clients. Must have knowledge of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) HR standards. Employee must successfully complete an orientation process that identifies skills needed to practice in their position and in their job assignment. Skill requirements must be met and maintained to ensure employee competency. This is achieved through an annual review of those particular skills and a work improvement plan for any non-compliant area(s).

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Must have a valid driver’s license for travel between office sites.
